Cataclysm is an online Minecraft server based in an open world apocalypse filled with monsters, camps, ruins, etc.
To start off, you will spawn somewhere random. To survive your first night, make sure you build a solid shelter. The material may vary, but to protect you from monsters, we would prefer wood.
After spending your first night, start creating or finding campsites around the world. To protect your camp from enemy players, try and build a wall that surrounds it completely. This will give give you more advanced protection from monsters and other potential threats.
